interactiveSharing includes a function that allows you to create, manage, edit and delete multiple user accounts.
Click Preferences» Accounts, the Accounts page appears.

Click the Network icon to configure network settings. There are two tabs: Host and Network. In the Host tab, you can change the hostname of your NAS. In the Network tab, you can setup and configure your network settings.
The following table describes the items shown in the network setup page.

Automatic(DHCP) | DHCP allows your NAS to be configured automatically. |

Auto DNS Server | Check this to configure the DNS server automatically. |

InteractiveSharing includes a function that allows you to set the disk to “Standby Mode” to save energy. Once the user accesses data from the disk again, it returns to “Normal Mode”.
To set the disk standby time of your NAS, click Preferences»Power Management, the Power Management page appears.
The following table identifies the fields and buttons shown in the power management page.
Field | Description |

Disk Standby Time | Specifies the specific amount of time before the disk enters “Standby Mode”. |
Apply | Click to save changes. |
To shutdown or reboot your NAS, click Preferences»Shut Down, the Shut Down page appears.
If you click Shutdown, the NAS will be turned off.
If you click Restart, the NAS will be restarted.
